Here is my first set of textures that you can use for both commercial and non-commercial projects. This set includes rug and fabric textures which you may find very useful when creating 3D models for architectural visualizations, video games and other 3D graphics applications. You may also use these textures to add effects on your web graphics or even for designs intended for print. These textures are in JPEG format, with the size of each texture set at 2304px by 1580px.

The pack contains 12 high resolution (3072 px by 2304 px) textures of various fabrics. Any of the photos can be found at Flickr (click through on the image that you want), or you can download the whole pack at the end of the post.

The textures can be used for both personal and commercial projects.

In this first month in 2010 I give 5 textures of fabric and of course they are free. I hope you like and the important those are useful.

The most important aspects of a good vintage style design is the use of authentic looking textures, i’ve put together a pack of some of the best vintage textures that I have. Each one of these textures consists of 4-5 different images layered together in Photoshop to get the end result you see here. I usually used one fabric texture, two paper textures, and a grunge texture along with the pattern to get the effect that I wanted.
