As a designer, typography is very important to me. It's how I convey messages and how I catch the attention of the people I'm trying to give the information to. Typography is an art form in itself, with type artists forming beautiful characters to create famous fonts that are used across the world.

Today, typography in advertising often reflects a company’s brand. Fonts used in advertisements convey different messages to the reader, classical fonts are for a strong personality, while more modern fonts are for a cleaner, neutral look. Bold fonts are used for making statements and attracting attention.

Most great logos are designed with a hidden message. These hidden or subliminal messages can be in the form of icons, a word-mark, numerical, pictures, illustration, or several other types of design elements. Audiences are amazed when they see a logo they have seen a thousand times before and suddenly notice something new. It’s a form of magic, something like going to Disney World as an adult and seeing it through the eye of the child!
